We are planning on initially offering middle and high school aged youth a place to go and hang out with their peers. Somewhere that is safe and exists specifically for them. Once in operation we are going to look to the youth for activities and specific additions based on their input and future goals.
ABOUT US
The future of our city will be determined by the youth of our city. Having a positive and constructive place for them to go is essential. Far too often we hear of youth getting into trouble and the first thing we think is that they had no business being where they were to begin with. The truth is they have no where to go; they do not want to hang out with there parents, and movies or shopping get expensive.
What the youth need is a place they are welcome, a place they want to go, and a place where they are safe. I believe that with the help of the community this mythical place can become a reality. By providing a place for youth, filled with activities they enjoy, that is safe, we can give the youth of our city a place to go, a place they are welcome, and a place they want to be. This is the first step in giving the youth of our city a future, and in return giving our city a future we can all look forward to.
